Beckett's First Post!
Beckett's birth day was March 12, 2009 at 4:10am in Ft Worth Texas. He was 6 lbs 2 oz and 19 inches long. He was tiny. Remember Caroline was 9 lbs. As most of you know we drove to Texas to be at the hospital for his birth. We did not expect to meet the birth mother this time, but we wanted to meet him as soon as we could. Well, God has a way with situations. He knew how much we wanted to be present and bond with the baby right away and at the last minute Jan was invited in to the delivery room. It was incredible to spend the next 48 hours with Beckett and his birth mother and father. We have a lot to tell this little guy when he asks. The next 10 days in Ft Worth were amazing. We met such wonderful people and ate the best food! Here is a photo comparison of Caroline at 4 weeks and Beckett at 4 weeks. At Beckett's 1 month checkup he was 10 lbs 2 oz. and 21 inches. Insane... We do love the dimple in his chin.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this baby and your whole family Jan! Who are these people who questioned adopting again-I think it's wonderful that you were open to inviting another baby into your full-of-love family. Beckett is incredibly adorable and I love seeing God's love acted out through you guys pursuing giving a great life to a baby who could have been in trouble. Can't wait to see you all again soon-Ella's been asking about a playdate!
You guys are amazing! (And good glory, Caroline is growing up to be a gorgeous kid from being an adorable toddler... sheesh they grow up fast).
