Father's Day, 18 years, 18 months

Happy Fathers Day!

After giving Daddy his gifts,

helping him unwrap them,

you picked up the photo of yourself and marched
over to the bookcase. You proceded to take the baby
photo of Rick and Kent off the shelf, place it facedown
on the floor, and replace it with your own! Very deliberately
I might add!! I wish I had the video camera out. We were
so stunned that we did not even think to photograph it!
It was hysterical.

Next you assisted Daddy in preparing the salads!
This has become a ritual for the two of you.

After dinner the two of you relaxed! (well deserved)

Also, this weekend we celebrated Rick's 18th!

Your brothers look like they are up to no good..

We also celebrated your 18th!

You are becoming quite a lady. Your latest
stats are 25 1/2 lbs (50-75%) and 33 1/4 in.
(90%). You run around, dance, sing to music,
eat alone, actually will choose your own food
if we would let you. You love pb and j sandwiches,
fruits, vegetables (YEAH), omelettes, french toast,
chicken, pork, practically everything. You do love to eat.
You love playing with other children, no matter what the
age. You have the greatest disposition. You are easily
refocused if you do not get your way. You are sleeping
wonderfully. Your good night ritual consists of saying
goodnite to your brothers, a kiss and a hug, reading
a few books in your crib, saying prayers,(you fold your
little hands), giving huge hugs and kisses to Mommy
and Daddy, wave goodnite to all your animals and dollies.
Roll over and hum yourself to sleep. You wake up in the
morning as happy as can be. You are not calling us to
come for you until about 8am to come get you.
It's great for the weekends!
You still love your hats and to pick out your own clothes.
You are up to a size 2T and size 7 in shoes. WOW! You
actually chose your own shoes at the store yesterday!
You seem so much older than 18 months. We love you more
today than yesterday, you are so much fun to be around.
Keep your sense of humor forever, stay as happy as you
can be and you will go far in life.

Love,
Momma
