Interacting!

Caroline, you are now 14 months
old and you love to dress up. You
actually smile at the camera and
love to have your picture taken.

You can follow a sequence of
commands such as clap, stamp
your feet, spin and clap. I think
you are going to be a dancer.
I can imagine you and your friends
entertaining the neighbors with shows
and plays.
You have entered the Daddy stage
this month. You want to go everywhere
he does. (Greg, I told you this would happen)
Daddy Daddy Daddy!
This is the first month you actually
played with other children. You had been
sharing your toys and feeding others cheerios,
but last week at our playgroup three of you were
playing. Ashley and you were inside the tent
and Owen was outside yelling boo and sticking
his head inside. The bellylaughs emerging from
the tent were hysterical. This went on for awhile.
It was so cute. What was great was that there were no
adults initiating the play. The three of you had ventured
into the other room and started the game all by yourselves.

It is so much fun watching you
develop into a little girl.
