Caroline's view on adoption

This morning Caroline, Beckett and I were playing. Caroline was the cashier and I was the shopper purchasing clothes for my baby. As she was ringing me up she said, out of the blue, I have a little girl. She didn't come out of my tummy she was in another girls tummy. The girl called me and asked if I would like the baby. I was going to pay for the baby but she just gave her to me. I used to work with her a long long time ago, and she knew that I was a really really good mommy. She wanted me to have her baby because she couldn't take care of her. She said that I was very special.
I asked her how old her little girl was. Caroline said four and her name is Caitlin. I asked if she will tell Caitlin that she was in another girls tummy and she said that she would. I asked her when and she said when Caitlin was 5. She said the girl was very brave to give her her baby. Caroline said that Caitlin was lucky and loved and she felt good that she did that.
Then she said. See that baby, he is a boy. He also came from another girls tummy. I love him alot.

And I was worried that I would not know how to explain this to her. God you are awesome!

What an awesome story! She should write a book for kids about adoption-it sounds like she understands it perfectly! Miss you!!
