Beckett absolutely loves water....he can watch and touch the water for hours...if I let him

He is so adorable...we love his expressions and his huge bright eyes say so much! He is sitting on his own now, he 'talks' to Caroline all day. He loves to shake his toys and examine the minute details in fabrics. He loves to eat...he would especially like to eat big kid food, he actually licks his lips and salivates when he watches you eating. He is still an early to bed kind of baby..by 7:15 he is out. He is also an extremely noisy sleeper...you think he is up, but when you go to his room, he is fast asleep rolling over and grabbing his blankie. Beckett is the baby that everyone looks at, and when they do, he grins right at them and makes them smile. It is so much fun to be around him.

Caroline went to her 2nd Ravens game of the season. How lucky is she. She is a real fan! She watches the whole game. Daddy loves this time with her. She is a real sports enthusiast.

Sporting a pony..looking too too cute and grown up. Caroline pretend plays all day. We are entertained from morning to night. Either she is Cinderella, dealing with her mean stepsisters, or in a show dancing. She has tea parties and picnics and her imagination is endless. She is looking forward to starting pre school. Her teacher sent her a postcard. She thought it was the nicest thing. We have a popsicle social on Monday, and meet and greet on the 11th. She starts school on the 14th. She realizes that she will be going alone, I pray that she loves it. I know that she will.

We leave on September 15th to go back to Texas to finalize Beckett's adoption. It will be an amazing trip and an amazing day. I can't describe the feeling when the judge announces that you are a family. It is right up there with your wedding vows. Beckett's adoption day is on Greg's birthday, how amazing is God, to arrange that one. Pretty cool.........

Keith Urban Backstage

We got to meet Keith Urban last night before the DC concert. It was amazing. He is such a down to earth guy. The whole experience was surreal. I'll post more later.

We have been having a great time the last few days. As you can see Caroline is hamming it up for the camera. She loves to get Beckett to crack up.

Beckett really laughs at Caroline. She gets him to belly laugh all the time and squeal. It is hysterical.

Greg and the kids have so much fun.

Greg and I had a date night. We went to Philadelphia to see Keith Urban. Greg's Mom with the help of his Aunt took care of the little ones. Caroline had her hair curled by Greg's Mom.

She absolutely loved the whole process.

Taylor and Keith were amazing. Greg and I had the best time. We didn't get back to the house until 130AM. Beckett woke up at 3am. We were exhausted. But, it was worth it.

The next day Caroline went to see the show Cinderella at the Laurel Playhouse. She went with 3 of her cousins, ages 7,6 and 4. Gramma took them all. Caroline did not stop talking about the play. Her favorite part was when Cinderella lost her glass slipper. Caroline was really taken back by the meanness of the step sisters. She was playing with her dolls and re enacting the scenes. I am so appreciative of my in laws. They are introducing the wonderful world of the arts to their grandchildren.
